On July 20th, 1969, Apollo 11 spaceflight successfully landed humans on the moon. Google Doodles (spontaneous changes that are made to the Google logo search bar to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists, pioneers, and scientists) created this week’s Google Doodle by celebrating the lunar landing. The video takes us through the journey to the moon and back, narrated by someone with firsthand knowledge of the epic event: former astronaut and Apollo 11 command module pilot Michael Collins.
